Lutung kasarung and Purbasari

In ancient times in the land of Pasundan there was a kingdom led by a wise and wise king named Prabu Tapa Agung. He has two daughters named Purbalarang or often called Raden Ayu Larang and Purbasari or often called Raden Rayi sari.
Because of his young age, Prabu Tapa Agung must immediately choose again.

At the palace.
Raja: "my daughter, now your father is getting older and must immediately choose to use the leader first. After careful thought, then father appoints Purbasari to replace father."
Purbalarang; "But father, where might Rayi be the leader while the eldest daughter's servant in this kingdom is still alive."
Purbasari: "if it is the best, then I am ready to be"
Raja: "OK, because the basics have also been approved, then the change of throne will take place tomorrow. Therefore I ask to prepare a big party to welcome our new leader."

The conversation ended. Because he did not accept it, Purbalarang also asked Indra's permission to accompany him to go to the house of a magician so that Purbasari would be brought to the Palace.

Witch: "Is there anything about a king's daughter coming here?"
Purbalarang: "Mbah, I want to ask for a potion that can make someone ask for a very disgusting disease."
Indrajaya: "calm down, Mbah, we have prepared a few sacks of wheat instead."
Witch: "Okay, I'll give you the concoction. You have to provide this concoction to drink at night, if not then you will get the result."
Indrajaya; "Okay, we'll remember the message. Thank you, Mbah, we say goodbye."

At night arrived, Purbalarang continued his plan to give the concoction to Purbasari. He came to Purbasari's room with a drink he had mixed with the ingredients the witch had given.

Purbalarang: "excuse me, can I come in?"
Purbasari: "sure enough, please come in."
Purbalarang: "thank you. Ayu is here just to give this water."
Purbasari: "Thank you Ayu, just keep the water in the drawer."
Purbalarang: "Okay, but make sure you drink this water tonight too." (Purbalarang puts the Water while inserting one of his jewelry into the drawer)
Purbasari: "Yes Ayu, I will drink it after clearing this."

The next day the atmosphere of the kingdom became chaotic because Purbasari was exposed to a very disgusting skin disease. On the other hand, Purbalarang lost his jewelry and slandered Purbasari who stole his jewelry.
Raja: "Larang, what is this?"
Purbalarang: "One of my jewelry is missing father, yesterday before Rayi entered my room the jewelry was still there. Maybe Rayi took it so that now it is like this."
Indrajaya: "Yes, father-in-law, I saw Purbasari yesterday brought something when he left our room."
Raja: "Sari, are you really the one who stole the jewelry?
Purbasari: "Of course not father. They slandered me, where could I do it like that. If you don't believe me, please just check Sari's room."
Raja: "Okay, let's check."

Then they headed to Purbasari's room and then Indra Jaya and Purbalarang checked his room.

Purbasari: "But my father never did that. I didn't even come to Ayu's room."
Raja: "Enough !!! (With a high tone). Sari, father is really disappointed with you."
Purbasari: "but father ..."
Raja: "Purbasari is enough, daddy doesn't want to hear anything else. Your jewelry and sickness have explained everything. You will be punished and exiled from this kingdom, but if you admit it and apologize to your sister, then you can stay here."
Purbasari: "No father, servants are better exiled from this kingdom than I must admit to mistakes that I did not even do at all."
Raja: "okay if (that's your choice. Now yoh must leave this kingdom and the throne will belong to Purbalarang."
Purbasari: "yes father, I will go now and release the throne to Ayu."

Finally the Purbalarang coronation was held on that day very simply.
In the afternoon, Purbasari left the kingdom and headed for a forest.
After arriving in the forest, he found a small hut and lived there. Suddenly a langur came to the hut carrying a bunch of bananas and gave it to Purbasari.
Purbasari: "is this for me?"
Lutung: "of course it's for you princess."

Purbasari was shocked and felt scared because the langur in front of him was different from langur in general, namely he could speak.
Lutung; "you don't need to be afraid because I don't have any bad intentions. I just want to accompany the princess so she won't be lonely."
Purbasari: "Okay, you can call me Sari, but what's your name."
Lutung: "You can call me Lutung."
They talked until nightfall. At that time Purbasari finally told what happened to him until he was expelled to the palace.
Lutung: "Sari, what causes you to be expelled from your kingdom."
Purbasari; "I was slandered by my own sister."
Lutung: "What's wrong?"
Purbasari: "I was slandered by stealing his jewelry and this disease appeared simultaneously" (Purbasari looked very sad). "after that I was exiled from the kingdom."

The conversation was finished because it was late at night. The following day went on as usual but Purbasari's disease did not heal but instead itchy even more.
Purbasari: "Lutung do you know how to have this disease disappear?"
Lutung: "Tonight is the night of the full moon, go to the lake and drink enough water. Then at that time your disease will disappear."

He alevenings arrived, langur turned out to have brought the lake water and gave it to Purbasari.
then the base drink the water and the disease he has suffered so far is gone without leaving a markso thanked the Lutung and thanked the god because his body could be as before.
Purbasari: "Lutung see, now I am truly healed. Thank you Lutung for helping me find a cure for my illness. Tomorrow I will return to the palace. I will also take you there as a sign of thanks from me."
Lutung: "Really? Thank you Sari."
Purbasari: "I should thank you."

The next day arrived, Purbasari and Lutung left the forest and headed to the kingdom. Purbasari met his father when he arrived in the kingdom.

Raja: "Purbasari, how are you kid? And why is this langur following you."
Purbasari: "Sari is fine father, this langur who has accompanied Sari while in the forest. He also helped Sari find a medicine that can cure Sari disease. Lutung introduced me to my father Prabu Tapa Agung."

Raja: "Is there Purbasari, are you back here?"
Purbasari: "father, I want to ask permission from Ayu Purbalarang so that I can stay here again. Where is Ayu now?"
Raja: "She is behind the palace."
Purbasari: "Good father, thank you."

Purbasari and Lutung went to meet Purbalarang who was behind the palace to ask permission so he could return to live in the kingdom. But it turned out that Purbalarang gave Purbasari the conditions that must be fulfilled so that he could return to live in the kingdom.
Purbasari. "Please forgive Ayu, am I and she allowed to stay back here?"
Purbalarang: "you can, as long as you can fulfill the requirements from me."
Purbasari: "Requirements? What requirements should I fulfill Ayu?"
Indrajaya: "The requirement is that you have to have a prospective husband who is able to defeat my supernatural powers right now."
Purbasari feels miserable. Finally the base pulled Tjandra's arm which had been following him.

King: "You should apologize to Purbasari not to your father because he was the one who suffered because of your act."
Purbalarang: "Rayi please forgive Ayu, please don't Ayu's law."
